Activation guides
Check the delivery type shown on your order first — a digital key, a digital account, an activation link and a gift link are all handled differently.
Steam products are usually supplied as a redeemable digital key.
Digital key
- 1Open Steam.
- 2Sign into your account.
- 3Open Games in the top menu.
- 4Select Activate a Product on Steam.
- 5Enter the supplied key.
- 6Follow Steam's on-screen instructions.
The product is added to the Steam account you redeem it on.
Gift link
- 1Sign into Steam in your browser.
- 2Open the supplied gift link.
- 3Accept the gift onto your account.
