What type of digital product am I buying?
Updated 29 August 2026
Every product page states its delivery type before you add anything to your basket. The delivery type decides what you actually receive after your order is prepared, so it is worth checking it first.
Digital key
You receive a redeemable code. You enter that code on the relevant platform or store while signed into your own account. The product then belongs to your account.
Digital account
You receive access credentials for a digital account or product rather than a code. You sign in using the supplied details and follow the instructions included with your delivery. A digital account product is not the same as a digital key, and the product page always says so clearly.
Activation link
You receive a link that activates or applies the purchased product. You open it while signed into the relevant service and follow the on-screen prompts.
Gift link
You receive a digital gift or redeem link. Opening it while signed into the relevant platform lets you accept the gift onto your account.
If the delivery type on a product page is not clear to you, contact support before ordering rather than guessing.
